This week on the show, Francis discusses sexual health, specifically getting a vasectomy. In the wake of the possible overturn of Roe V. Wade, sexual health is important and dudes don't like talking about any blades near their balls so hopefully this episode can help ease fears if you've been considering one.
If you're wanting the short version: Its fairly easy and took maybe three days to feel back to normal. My doctor told me I shouldn't consider it to be reversible since instead of snipping and tying off I had my vas deferens cauterized.
Dudes, I understand if all this sounds scary but I promise you it isn't. If you've been considering one I cannot recommend it enough, and you'll probably get a good story out of it. Insurance is all about paying for you to not give them more babies to support. Best of all is to be my age (39) and know I'm not going to be changing diapers regularly ever again.
Family planning is important and I have a wonderful daughter who is almost seven and don't have the ability to support another kid without major upheaval to my life. Stopping pregnancy is just as important as starting it for health, safety and of course privacy. We are 100% pro baby and 100% pro choice on this show, and those concepts shouldn't be hard to hold together.
